post reflection
I don't think students at this age should go steady as we are all shooling thus our main duties are to study well and going steady would surely affect our studies, etc. because we need time to build the relationship between each other and if something happened between the 2 of you, it'll cause you to just divert your total attention to it and not something that is more important. and it also might cause you to regret what you've done now in the future of your life.
to me personally i don't think singaporean teens think that sex if very important , although there are always be some who goes steady because of sex. to most teens age 13 to 17, to go steady just means that he/she just wants a companion who is able to care for him/her, a person that listens to them and consoles them or it might also be a status thing as some people think that when i have a gf/bf it means i'm cool and loveable to many but not sex.

post lesson reflection
I personally do not think that students aged 13 to 17 are at the correct age to go steady...Students at 13 years of age are still schooling and hence they still need to focus on their studies and work.Another reason is that teenagers at this age do not really understand what they really need and want.If they have a stead now, they may regret it in their later part of their lives,but they mayt also not..Some of the more mature teens would know what they are doing now but some may not.
To singaporean teens sex is not a very important part of going steady but more of after marriage. to teens around this age(13-17) going steady is more of wanting to share every thing with the other person. to them they like to have somebody's companion and have some to talk to but not for sex.
